Catholic Sisters United In Christ (CSU) is the noble and pious Society founded in 1994 under the directive of Rev. Fr. Kelvin McGarry (SMA), the parish priest of St. Agnes Catholic Church Maryland, Lagos.
The Society aims to foster spiritual growth among members; nurture the spirit of sisterhood, understanding, support and good fellowship among its members and serve God with our 3 T’s (Time, Talent & Treasure) via giving to the world our selfless gift of service. CSU St. Leo’s Parish Ikeja, Lagos was birthed in February 2002 with the consent and directive of the Parish Priest and current Vicar General of Lagos Archdiocese, Monsignor J.K Aniagwu. We were given the Apostolate of taking care of indigent widows in our parish. More so, during our 10th anniversary in 2012, we took up the additional responsibility of training the children of widows in schools under our Education Trust Fund Scheme (Scholarship). |
The code of conduct of the Society shall apply to the actions of members as it relates to the home, the Catholic faith, community life and business dealings.
Members shall be upright, fair and honest in their interpersonal relationships. All members and officers shall uphold and defend the constitution of the Society, render honest, impartial and efficient services to the Society. All members shall respect the views of the majority and abide by majority decisions. |
